What is the Connected Apps transfer quota?
For each monthly Transfer Quota dimension — Cloud Download, Downstream, and Upload — Connected Apps can use up to 25% of your total valid quota for that dimension. All Connected Apps share the limit within each dimension. Usage in one dimension cannot be exchanged for allowance in another dimension.
Connected Apps usage also counts toward your overall Transfer Quota. The 25% limit is not extra quota.
If a Connected Apps limit is reached, the result depends on the dimension:
- Downstream traffic slows to about 100 KB/s.
- Further uploads are blocked.
- New Cloud Download tasks are blocked, but tasks that are already running continue.
Only Connected Apps are affected by these limits. The official PikPak apps on Android, iOS, Windows, macOS, Web, and TV can continue using the rest of your Transfer Quota normally.
The limits reset with your monthly Transfer Quota. For more details, see What is the Connected Apps quota, and how is it different from my monthly transfer quota?.
Free accounts also have a daily Connected Apps Downstream limit of 5 GB. It is checked in parallel with the monthly Downstream limit. See (Free accounts) How does the daily downstream limit apply to Connected Apps?.
