Can I move files from regular cloud storage into the Vault?

Directly moving files from regular cloud storage into the Vault is not currently supported.
The Vault uses End-to-End Encryption by design to provide a higher level of protection for sensitive personal files. To maintain maximum security isolation between the Vault and regular cloud storage, we have not implemented a "direct move" feature from regular space to the Vault.
Here's why: if files could be moved directly from regular cloud storage into the Vault by the system, metadata such as file origin, operation records, or file associations might be created. This could link the files in the Vault to their originals in regular storage, potentially reducing the privacy protection that the Vault provides as an independent encrypted space.
To store a file in the Vault, please download it to your local device first, then upload it to the Vault from there. This ensures a clean separation between the file's regular-space history and its encrypted storage in the Vault.
