What is the Vault?

We believe that truly private, sensitive, and important content deserves the most trustworthy independent storage space. That's why we developed the Vault.
The Vault uses End-to-End Encryption (E2EE) — commonly known as Zero-Knowledge Encrypted Storage — the highest level of privacy protection available. Files are encrypted on your device before being uploaded; only you hold the keys needed to unlock them. Even PikPak cannot directly view the original content stored in your Vault.
The Vault operates with its own independent Vault Passcode and separate storage quota, completely isolated from your regular cloud storage. Every access requires re-authentication (with optional Biometric unlock for convenience), ensuring that even if someone else uses your device, they cannot directly access your private content.
The Vault enables auto-lock by default: it locks when you exit the app, switch to the background, or remain inactive for a set time. You can also manually lock the Vault at any moment — essential for public spaces or when stepping away from your device.
The Vault supports encrypted sharing (learn how to share Vault files). Each share generates a unique share link and Share Key. You can choose Separated mode (link and key sent separately for higher security) or Combined mode (link includes the key for convenience), and set an expiry date for the share. Recipients must have the correct key to decrypt and access your files.
