I haven't downloaded many files, so why is the downstream traffic limit triggered?
PikPak's downstream traffic quota covers all bandwidth-consuming activities including online playback, online viewing and file downloads, and is not limited to traffic generated by file downloads only. Please refer to the following options based on your account type and specific quota exceeded situation:
- Non-Premium user's daily downstream quota exhausted
- Wait for automatic renewal the next day to continue using the service.
- Purchase Premium for a higher transfer quota if immediate access is needed.
- Monthly basic transfer quota exhausted
- Resume using PikPak on the first day of the next month for a new monthly transfer quota.
- Purchase additional transfer quota if you do not wish to wait.
Our data analysis shows the monthly basic transfer quota does not restrict regular individual users. The quota is only likely to be reached under extreme usage conditions, in which case additional transfer quota can be purchased to increase the limit. We believe that raising the cost of abuse is an effective way to curb service abuse. In addition, we may increase the basic transfer quota for some users when service capacity is sufficient, meaning your actual basic transfer quota may be higher than the stated value. With transfer quotas in place, we can relax other restrictions to avoid impacting normal usage, while further improving service quality and user experience.
