What should I do if I get 'The download engine is not started and the download cannot continue' ?
You can solve this problem by following two ways.
Method 1:
- Click the Windows icon in the bottom-left corner and type CMD.
- In the search results, right-click "Command Prompt" and select "Run as administrator".
- In the Command Prompt window, enter the following commands one by one. Press Enter after each line to execute:
netsh winsock reset
netsh int ipv4 reset
Method 2:
Please follow the steps below to check whether Internet Protocol Version 6 (TCP/IPv6) is enabled on your Windows computer:
- Open the Control Panel.
- Navigate to Network and Internet > Network Connections.
- Right-click on your Ethernet connection and select Properties.
- In the list of items used by the connection, look for Internet Protocol Version 6 (TCP/IPv6).
- Make sure the checkbox next to it is checked, which means IPv6 is enabled.
If it's unchecked, please tick the box to enable it, then click OK to save the changes.
