Why is there a transfer quota?

Transfer quotas help PikPak keep downloads, uploads, and playback reliable for all users. A small number of unusually high-traffic accounts can consume disproportionate service capacity and affect download speeds, playback, and overall stability.

Transfer quota provides a clearer and more predictable way to manage this usage than broad limits on actions such as file uploads or playback from multiple IP addresses. It includes separate Cloud Download, Downstream, and Upload dimensions, which are measured during each calendar month.

All PikPak accounts have Basic Transfer Quota. The limits are designed to accommodate regular individual use and are generally reached only under unusually high usage. If you need more quota, you can purchase Extra Transfer Quota.

PikPak may increase Basic Transfer Quota for some accounts when service capacity allows, so the quota shown in your account may be higher than the standard amount.
