Why are there no thumbnail previews in the Vault?

Vault files are stored in encrypted form on the server, so PikPak cannot extract or generate thumbnails. The file list shows file type icons only.
When you tap an image or video, the app downloads and decrypts the file locally first — after which it becomes available for preview.
